Frequently Asked Questions

A few of the questions I’m asked most often. If yours isn’t here, please get in touch.

It is a “sonic deep-tissue massage.” Using cutting-edge Woojer technology, we translate sound frequencies into physical vibrations. While your ears hear the music, your body feels the pulse, helping to bypass the chatter of the mind and ground your nervous system directly.

Absolutely. Many autistic individuals find this therapy incredibly grounding. Because it provides a powerful, predictable physical anchor, it can help reduce sensory overload from the outside world and provide a safe space to reconnect with one’s own body.

Standard modern music is often tuned to 440Hz, which can be agitating. We curate music — often in the natural 432Hz frequency — to encourage the parasympathetic nervous system to take over. This moves you out of fight-or-flight mode and into a state of recovery and peace.

I bring the therapy to you. We set up the Woojer mat in a comfortable space in your home. I then curate a personal programme of music based on your needs — whether you need deep relaxation, emotional release, or a creative uplift.

No. I provide the Woojer Vibrotactile mat and the curated audio. If we are exploring the visual synchronicity element, I will also provide the MindPlace Kasina goggles. All you need is a quiet space where you can sit or lie down comfortably.

Vibrotactile therapy is non-invasive and very safe. However, if you have a pacemaker, are pregnant, or have a history of severe epilepsy, please consult your doctor first. We will ask you to sign our disclaimer regarding any pre-existing conditions before we begin. Intensity levels can always be adjusted to suit your comfort level.

A typical session lasts between 45 to 60 minutes, including a brief consultation at the start to “tune in” to your current mood and needs.

I’d love to hear from you. Drop me a line via the contact page and we can talk through whether the Woojer mat experience is the right fit for you.
